A LEGACY OF MIRACLES

Singing the Miraculous

Vicki Jamison-Peterson was a beloved healing evangelist known for singing miracles. Her ministry gift beautifully blended the gift of prophecy in song, the gifts of healing, and the word of knowledge. For 35 years, her ministry demonstrated the power of the Gospel.

A gifted vocalist, Vicki sang words of healing over individuals in her meetings rather than speaking out the words of knowledge. She once shared that the healing anointing was “10 times stronger” when she sang the healings instead of speaking them. The Holy Spirit not only gave her the words but also the melodies.

In the early years of her ministry, Vicki was inspired by Old Testament biblical figures like Deborah, the prophetess who sang, and King David, the singing prophet. This revelation helped her fully embrace the flow of the Spirit that shaped her unique calling.

As a young minister, Vicki admitted that she didn’t know how to minister healing. “There was no handbook on it,” she said. So she waited on the Lord in every service, trusting Him to guide her. Over time, Vicki noticed that when she sang the healings, there was a deeper reverence in the auditorium and the results were more profound.

Vicki went home to be with the Lord in 2008. Her legacy continues to inspire through the videos of her healing services, inviting new audiences to witness the same anointing she carried throughout her ministry.
